Takbo Para sa Kalikasan
Last Sunday, February 28, 2010 our company, Bayan Tel supports the DZMM Takbo para sa Kalikasan ’11. The call time to be at the office is 4:15AM, for the shuttle to bring us at the venue. I woke up as early as 3am to prepare for the run, Im having a hard time to fix myself since I’m suffering from dysmenorrhea :(. The Baliwag bus that I supposed to ride is not yet arrived till 4am, im running out of time and so I should go directly to Quirino to be at the starting line on time. But sadly I’m late, still at the Luneta park, running to the venue when I heard the gun start. Hurrying up to left my bag and change to my running short (thanks to our company driver for fixing my things :) ) . I crossed the 10K runners as I ran back (my apology for blocking the lane as I crossed the street :( ) I still run to the starting line even all the runners 10K, 5K and 3K already started (to make sure that I did the whole 10K). As I run from the starting line, trying to pass all the 3K runners to position myself. I saw Marky and Dom infront of Manila Hotel waiting for me, thanks guys for the patience and for accompanying me :). Since, I did not do some stretching (coz I’m late ) and I’m in pain, I’m having a hard time running. I feel the pain in my body so I have to walk. Thanks to Marky (my coach, hehe) for pushing me and encouraging me to run from time to time (sorry for disappointing you, but still you did not leave me :) ). We are the last to run for the 10K, and we saw all the runner passing us. Thanks to the marshall and policeman for checking on our safety. After 1hour and 43mins (time at the big screen) we finish the race and so we are part on the TOP 10 (from the last, hehehe). Happy to see my officemates, waiting for us to take some pictures.
Thanks Sir Mike for the picture.
Thanks to our BayanTel HR Team for the registration and food.
