in our spiritual journey, there are prizes prepared not for the one who win the race but for those who persevere, so keep running the race of FAITH and stick to GOD!

Changing The World, One Pencil At A Time: Run For Pencils Project
Changing The World, One Pencil At A Time: Run For Pencils Project
(G.Gayao)
Kid: I love to run in circles. I love to run freely, rain or shine. I love to run after the butterflies.
Teenager: I need to run after the ball. I need to run away for a little while. I want to run away… with you.
Adult: I run to burn the extra pounds. I run for good health. I run for my life!
Whatever stage a person is in life, that person always run for a reason, whether the reason is good or not. And more often than not, even though most running events are tied up to a cause, runners always run for their personal benefit.
On 5, 6 and 20 March 2011, a group of running enthusiasts will literally hit the road for the Bataan Death March Ultramarathon 102k, Unilab Run United 1 and The Bull Runner Dream Marathon events, respectively. As each runner embarks on their personal goals, they have also decided to achieve the goal of Black Pencil Project (BPP) in changing the world one pencil at a time. It is BPP’s mission to reach out to every Filipino child in the far-flung communities around the Philippines. And these runners will partake in the advocacy to promote learning to early learners of the Mangyan tribes in Mindoro.
How? And what has running got to do with promoting learning?
A political figure once said that it takes a community to raise a child. And most runners will say that they never run alone. Click on the links below if you are interested in the initiative of the Black Pencil Project and would want to support your friend/any runner as he/she runs the good race and claims victory at the finish line.
